About the Artist

My work celebrates local New England beauty and scenes from my travels. Much of my recent work has been in oil or pastel, and my portfolio covers a variety of subjects, with an emphasis on landscapes and still life.

As an involved member of Amesbury's vibrant community of artists, I am currently co-chair of the Amesbury Cultural Council. The Amesbury Cultural Council is a group of City-appointed volunteers who help fund, promote, facilitate, and improve access to cultural activities and the arts in Amesbury and surrounding communities. I am particularly active in the encouragement of younger artists. I am a supporter of the Art & Jazz programs at the Amesbury Middle School, and the annual Amesbury Youth Art Show. I also find joy in teaching a small group of students.

I have had works accepted to The Harpswell Collective,The Thornhill Galley in Portsmouth, NH, Marblehead Festival of Arts, the Artists Cooperative Gallery of Westerly, Newburyport Art Association, alchemy + art, Art @ City Hall and Artsville Amesbury. I am an active participant in the Amesbury Open Studio, and my paintings can also be seen by appointment at The Artists’ Muse at 9 Water Street in Amesbury.
